“After volunteering several years raising funds to support a national cancer organization, I found myself part of a group who were concerned that funds were not staying within our community. Together, we created the Rock County Cancer Coalition with a simple premise of generating financial support from within our community that stays in our community.”

By helping meet the needs of people doing extraordinary battle, RCCC defines community at its best. Many of my own friends and family have walked and are walking this difficult path. This is how I honor and support their journey.

I got involved with RCCC because several family members endured cancer over the years, and watching my sister in law lose the battle I felt the need to help in any way I could. When asked there was no way I could say no. Knowing we keep everything in our own communities was so very important to me.”
